Types of Hunts in Europe

Europe is home to an incredible variety of species. There are numerous mouflon sheep, barbary sheep, and wild goats in many countries. Spain is known for several types of ibex (gredos, beceite, southeastern, and ronda), and there are also kri-kri and alpine ibex in several countries. Chamois live in high alpine mountains, and there are seven different types you can hunt. Deer are widespread in many countries. There are at least sixteen types by our count. The most iconic is the roe deer, closely followed by the red deer. There are even wild boar, bison, wolf, moose, and bear to hunt in Europe. 

Some more popular destinations are Spain, England, Scotland, France, and Austria, but virtually every European country has some fine hunting for multiple species. Hunts here are perfect for bringing a spouse, and lodging will typically be charming with excellent food. Most hunts tend to be 2-3 days per species, so it is possible to plan several species in one trip and have some incredible sightseeing and cuisine along the way.
