Whether you are looking to harvest the grand slam of turkeys or just looking for a great turkey hunt, we have a wide array of options. Many hunters are addicted to turkey hunting; for a good reason, they are fun and challenging to hunt. Hearing that big gobbler spit and drum as he comes in range, all blown up and strutting, will have your heart pumping. And the types of turkeys and the variety of states and terrain you can hunt will keep giving you new experiences each time you take a trip.
There are several types of turkeys in North America. Four main types constitute the grand slam of turkeys in North America – the Eastern, Rio Grande, Merriam, and Osceola. And for you serious turkey folks, there are also the Goulds and Ocellated turkeys found primarily in Mexico. We offer hunts for 5 of these six species.
We offer turkey hunts in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Florida, Nebraska, Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Oregon, California, and Mexico. Our locations and outfitters are carefully selected based on the populations of birds and the outfitters’ track record of putting our hunters on turkeys. We are passionate turkey hunters here at Infinity Hunts and understand what it takes to get a great tom on the ground.
We offer Eastern turkey hunts in several states such as Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and parts of Kansas. Depending on the area, these will be spring hunts conducted in ground blinds or run and gun calling tactics. Hunts typically will include meals and lodging.
Our hunts in Texas, California, Oregon, Oklahoma, and Kansas produce great birds. Depending on the area, these hunts utilize a combination of ground blinds and run and gun calling tactics. Texas is a two-bird limit state; the other states are one bird. In Oregon, we can combine turkey and black bear in the spring.
Nebraska has a mix of Merriam and Rio Grande turkeys, and we hunt both here mainly from pre-scouted ground blinds, which keeps the hunting great throughout the spring. In addition, the NWTF allows the classification of birds from Nebraska based on their coloration, so with a two-bird limit, you could take both Rio Grande and Merriam turkeys, or even a hybrid, on the same hunt. We also offer hunts in Wyoming when bird numbers are strong.
We offer spring Osceola turkey hunts in Florida in March and early April. These hunts have been 100% opportunity to date. Hogs are also available on these hunts, and we have had clients bring their families to the beach for spring break and “sneak away” for a turkey hunt.
We hunt the beautiful Gould’s turkey in Mexico about 7 hours east of Hermosillo with our proven outfitter. These spring hunts are typically successful for two birds. We will even help take care of your shotgun permits.
We are constantly in the field seeking additional great outfitters and world-class turkey hunts. So if you are looking for an excellent turkey hunt and outfitter, please contact us so we can start putting together the perfect turkey hunt for you.
